The Luoning project was completed in January 2017. The site rests on a flat sandy hilltop about 580m above sea level. The project resides in Madian township in Xiaojie village approximately 10km west of Luoning county centre.
This project is the first of its kind in China, and resembles community solar projects in the United States. The energy produced by the solar panels goes to the grid and directly to a specified set of energy consumers.
The Baisha project is a 50 MW ground-mounted solar system. The project was completed in February 2017. The project resides on Dayu hill and covers south-facing slopes with the land terraced into different platforms.
